CS Solutions Involvement

Burgess BioPower is located at the site of the former Fraser Paper Mill, which devastated the local economy when it closed in 2006.  In 2008, an opportunity arose to bring new life to the shuttered mill by converting its existing black liquor boiler into a state-of-the-art, environmentally-friendly, biomass power generating facility.  The project closed financing in 2011, completed construction in 2013, and has been in commercial operation since 2014. CSS provides services including operations and maintenance, accounting, HR, and oversight of a Capital Improvement Program which significantly improved the facility's operations.
