Project Overview

Green Life Farms grows premium baby leafy greens and head lettuce at its 100,000 square foot hydroponic greenhouse in Lake Worth, Florida, with additional expansion planned. Green Life Farms’ process combines technology with agricultural best practices to grow flavorful produce. The hydroponic process cultivates crops without soil in clean, nutrient-rich oxygenated water, year-round.  Products are sold locally at supermarkets and restaurants.


Sustainability Profile
Hydroponic process uses 90% less water than conventional farming, with no pesticides or dirty runoff.

Technology
Uses state-of-the-art floating raft technology to grow crops; hands-free harvesting system ensures cleanliness.

Location
First Farm location is in Lake Worth, Florida.  Additional farms are planned in Florida and beyond.

Investment Profile
Total investment: $30 million.  Backed by the USDA and located in distressed Opportunity Zone areas.  

CS Solutions Involvement

The CSS team conceptualized, engineered, financed, and constructed Green Life Farms in under two years. Under CSS's guidance, the Green Life Farms brand was developed, and a consumer marketing strategy was successfully implemented. CSS now manages the facility's ongoing operations and facility optimization, and is overseeing Green Life Farms' expansion plans.
